MG Gloster Black Storm Edition Teased

Excitement builds as MG teases the upcoming Gloster Black Storm Edition, promising a blend of elegance and power. The teaser hints at a captivating design makeover and enhanced features, elevating the Gloster's appeal. With the tagline "Redefining the Rules of Luxury," MG aims to set a new standard in the premium SUV segment. Enthusiasts await the full reveal, anticipating a perfect fusion of style and performance in the Black Storm Edition.

The company has teased MG Gloster Black Storm Edition before its launch.

There is no information on the launch date, but we can expect the car to be introduced within a few weeks. The teaser showcased the Black Storm badging and the silhouette of the car that is likely to remain the same. For the MG Gloster Black Storm trim, we can expect a new dark colour shade with blacked-out elements for the grille, badging, alloy wheels, and ORVMs, to name a few.

We can also expect the Black Storm badging on the shoulder and rear of the car. We can also expect chrome treatment for the exterior elements, along with a few strong lines and creases over the body.

On the other hand, the interiors can be expected to receive an all-black treatment over the dash, instrument cluster, and infotainment system, along with a strong shade of dark colour for the cabin upholstery. The Black Storm badging can be expected on the inside as well. A similar theme is followed by Tata as well for its lineup of cars.

The MG Gloster uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, BS6 Phase II compliant diesel engine that comes mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It is offered in two states of tune: a turbo diesel and a twin-turbo unit. The turbo diesel belts out a good 161 bhp of power and 375 Nm of peak torque. The twin-turbo unit pushes out 215 bhp of power and 480 Nm of torque.

In terms of features, the Gloster comes loaded to the brim, and it gets a wireless charger, ADAS system, 12.2-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with massage function among others.

The MG Gloster will set you back by Rs. 32.59 lakh for the base variant, and we can expect the Black Storm edition to have a sticker price north of the Rs. 35 lakh mark. It wrestles with the likes of the Jeep Meridian and Toyota Fortuner, to name a few.
