MG Comet EV Launched in India
MG Motor India has launched the Comet EV, its first electric vehicle in India. The Comet EV is an urban runabout that measures just under 3 meters in length. It is offered with two battery pack options: a 17.3 kilowatt hour battery that delivers around 200 kilometers on a single charge and a 26.7 kilowatt hour battery unit that delivers around 300 kilometers on a single charge. India is likely to get the smaller battery pack option on the Comet EV as standard.
The MG Comet EV is expected to be priced competitively in the Indian market. The car is expected to rival the likes of the Tata Tiago EV and the Hyundai Kona Electric.
