Mercedes Maybach SL 680 to be launched in India

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced its most sporty Maybach ever, the SL 680 Monogram at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 4.2 crore in India. Three units of this open-top, two-seater roadster are reserved for India, with deliveries starting from Q1 2026.

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series comes in Red Ambience or White Ambience paint with an opposing dual-tone, black exterior. There is also a Maybach-exclusive grille with illumination and rose gold interior accents in the headlights.

Exterior Highlights

Other exterior features are a Maybach design on the bonnet, and a vertical logo with a chrome fin vertically mounted on the bonnet.

In addition, the SL 680 is mounted on 21-inch forged wheels and receives a chrome treatment on the door handles, front fenders, door sills, and rear bumper.

Interiors

Internally, the cabin of the new Maybach SL 680 features Manufaktur's crystal white Nappa leather interior trim. When it comes to features, the high-end roadster receives a tilting 11.9-inch infotainment system running the latest MBUX software, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, three-spoke steering wheel with Maybach badging, powered and ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and advanced safety package.

Powertrain

Mechanically, a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and a nine-speed automatic transmission take care of the job. This engine is calibrated to produce 580bhp and 800Nm maximum torque, with a zero to 100kmph time of merely 4.1 seconds.

Conclusion

The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is a luxury statement, an exclusive product, and a high-performance roadster. Only three units have been reserved for India, making the ultra-premium roadster a rare entity on Indian roads. Merging Maybach's hallmarks of extravagance with the sporty DNA of AMG, the SL 680 presents an unparalleled open-top driving experience. Priced at Rs. 4.2 crore, this stunning machine is a dream come true for a collector, offering luxury, technology, and heart-pounding performance in one bundle. Deliveries are expected to start in Q1 2026, and it will be a much-awaited addition to the high-end automobile scene.
