Mercedes G 63 Collector's Edition at Rs 4.30 Crore

Mercedes-Benz India has rolled out the top-of-the-line AMG G 63 Collector's Edition at Rs 4.30 crore. The company will make 30 of these SUVs featuring India-specific Manufaktur colors, plush interiors, and custom touches. The company offers this edition to its current high-end customers showing its commitment to India-specific Mercedes luxury.

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the G 63 Collector's Edition in India, a unique and high-end version of its well-known G-Class SUV, with a price tag of Rs 4.30 crore (ex-showroom).

The company will produce just 30 units of this special edition, making it available to its current top-tier customers. This move shows Mercedes' growing emphasis on customization and luxury tailored for the Indian market.

Designed for India – Inspired by Monsoons and Earthy Tones

Mercedes has created a special edition for the first time that draws inspiration from Indian aesthetics. The Collector's Edition comes in two custom Manufaktur paint colors:

  • Mid Green Magno, which brings to mind India's rich monsoon greenery

  • Red Magno, which calls to mind the country's iron-rich soil

To make it even more unique, the SUV has a 'One of Thirty' plaque on the spare wheel cover, a gold-accented AMG side strip, and 22-inch AMG alloy wheels with a gold finish. These design elements make the SUV stand out and sought-after.

A Luxurious Interior for Discerning Buyers

The SUV's interior features plush two-tone Catalana Beige and Black Nappa leather seats, along with open-pore walnut wood trim. A key highlight is the personalized dashboard grab handle where owners can have their name etched making each vehicle one-of-a-kind.

Same Iconic Powertrain, Same Ferocity

From a mechanical standpoint, the G 63 Collector's Edition keeps the strong 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine now with 48V mild-hybrid tech. It puts out 585hp and 850Nm, plus a 22hp electric boost going from 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds through a 9-speed auto and 4Matic AWD system.

A Rare Gem with an Eye on Tomorrow

This special edition isn't just about being scarce—it's a calculated step. Mercedes-Benz hints at more India-specific Collector Editions coming soon offering custom luxury across its top-tier range. With even the standard G 63 having a 12–18 month wait, the Collector's Edition will sell out fast.

The G 63 Collector's Edition isn't just a vehicle; it's a treasure seeker's fantasy mixed with Indian sophistication.
