Car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz is making a full throttle thrust to enter the Indian market, which has a high-performance coupe in the booming market with the launch of the AMG GT63 and AMG GT63 Pro, on June 27, 2025.
The new two-door monsters, which were delivered as a completely built unit (CBU), will become a new drive that will launch the brand after the introduction of the brand, attempting to focus on luxury, such as the Maybach EQS and SL680 Monogram Series.
Heart-Pounding Performance from a Biturbo V8
Both models of AMG GT63 have a similar engine that consists of a 4.0-liter load-twinned turbine engine and a 9G Multi-Clutch Transmission (MCT). This engine has been fine-tuned to produce an immense 584.6 bhp and 800 Nm torque to set off the coupe to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The GT63 range has been constructed to be both fast and stable, with a top speed of 315 kmph.
To the performance credentials is an international component that is hybrid; a 6.1kW liquid-cooled battery with which an extra boosted power of up to 150kW can be accessed and sent directly to the rear axle, thus improving power delivery and handling.
This (it is not confirmed in India yet, but it has been found in worldwide models) promises the possibility of a future-proof model.
Features and Design That Shout Performance
Styling cannot be less than AMG's aggressive DNA. Carbon fibre decorating will be plentiful, the body will be an aerodynamically oriented one, and the coupe lines will tell you that it has the performance in it without looking at the engine.
On top of that, it is likely that the GT63 Pro variant will get even more retrofitting done to it with regards to a more tuned engine and track-oriented equipment which further distinguishes it with the standard variant.
Expected Pricing and Launch Details
The probable price of the two models will be an approximate of Rs 3 crore (ex-showroom). The target audience of these cars is a group of serious drivers who value performance and do not intend to give up on brand fidelity and advanced technology.
The AMG GT63 and GT63 Pro will be delivered soon after India launch, which is why they will be the new standards of the Indian luxury segment of V8-powered coupe-sized models.
