Maruti e-Vitara Spied Before the Launch in Bluish Black paint

Just months before its official presentation in September 2025, the first all-electric SUV of the Maruti Suzuki brand, the e-vitara has been seen in the disguise-free version. The EV was spotted with a streamlined Bluish Black paint, which enabled a clear view of its production-ready design. Temporary reservations have already started in the country.

Maruti e-Vitara has officially released the first set of pictures. Maruti Suzuki is preparing its initial electric SUV, the e-Vitara, for a proper reveal in September 2025 and it follows that it has been photographed head-on, for the first time.

The next e-Vitara was spied fully uncovered too, in a Bluish Black paint finish, and that gives a straight preview of the production-ready style of the upcoming vehicle.

Launch Timeline & Bookings

Although the electric SUV was designed to launch earlier, the delay has now pushed the official launch back to be set for September. Nevertheless, test drives have already started at some Nexa dealerships.

The initial demand indicates that customers are increasingly becoming interested in the future programs of Maruti regarding electricity.

Design and Colour Selection

There is a fair deal of design shown by the spied model. With clean lines and an erect profile of typical Maruti SUV styling, the e- Vitara has a modern and SUV look. There will be no lack of choice in colour, also on the part of buyers.

Maruti will provide 10 external colours, amongst which monotone shades such as Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Nexa Blue, Bluish Black and Grandeur Grey, as well as dual-tone, will be offered, namely Opulent Red with Bluish Black roof or Land Breeze Green with a contrasting top.

Features and Interior Equipment

The interior features of the e-Vitara are presumed to command top notch features in the segment. Highlights include:

  • A huge touch-screen infotainment set

  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

  • Digital instrument cluster in 10.25 inches

  • Glass roof

  • Front ventilated seats

  • Ambient lighting

  • 360-degree camera

  • Seven airbags

  • ADAS level 2 package

The emphasis on technology and comfort is an indication that Maruti has plans of marketing the e-Vitara as a worthy competitor of the emerging electric SUV market.

Battery and Range

The e-Vitara is expected to be available with two battery pack sizes 49kWh and 61kWh, but they both will drive the same electric motor. Maruti promises a top of up to 500 km on a full charge, which means that it competes with others, such as the Tata Nexon EV Long Range, and the MG ZS EV.

Combining pragmatism, facilities, and the ability to go the distance, the Maruti e-Vitara presents itself as a big bang, bound to make its presence felt as it finds its way to showrooms towards the end of the calendar year.
