In the event, Maruti Suzuki introduced the Victoris SUV in India earlier this month at an introductory price of 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The entry-level LXi CNG model is finally making it to showrooms throughout the nation.

Initially, it was just the high-end ones, but now with the entry-level coming it became usable to get a hold of quite easily. The move will increase the attraction of the Victoris line to consumers interested in affordability and optimality.

Exterior Design Details

The Victoris LXi, herein displayed at the base, is painted in Arctic White, a paint finish depicting a lean and straightforward build.

Major exterior features are the halogen projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, badging of Victoris on the tailgate, steel alloy wheels with wheel covers and the ORVMs and door handles painted in black.

Although it leaves out high-end alloy rims and platinum finishes, the SUV does not leave behind a strong footprint on the road.

Cabin and Features

The Victoris LXi is not lightweight internally. The SUV consists of a contemporary design that can be configured with a dual-tone furnishing, three-spoke steering wheel, and 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system.

The necessary comforts are an electrically adjustable ORVM, an adjustable front armrest, rear AC vents and an engine start-stop button. Safety, it is being much better equipped with six airbags, keeping it safe even in the base version.

Powertrain and Efficiency

The Victoris LXi CNG under the hood is powered by a 4-cylinder and 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled with an addition of a CNG kit. This has created an 87 bhp, 121 Nm of torque combination, which operates the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Its efficiency is the major ticket item, as Maruti Suzuki boasts of a 27.02 kmpl fuel economy, which is one of the best in its category.

In addition to the CNG package, Victoris 1.5 litre petrol has mild and strong hybrid options, and has 6 speed torque converter, either e-CVT or AllGrip.

Conclusion

The Maruti Victoris can attract more customers with the example of the base CNG version coming into dealerships. It is practical and well equipped in safety and on the issue of economy of running because it is affordable and economical in the mid-range SUV market segments.
