Maruti Suzuki Invicto Earns 5-Star BNCAP Safety Rating

Maruti Suzuki’s premium MPV, the Invicto, has achieved a five-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). Tested in both Zeta+ and Alpha+ variants, the MPV impressed with strong scores in adult and child occupant protection, further strengthening Maruti’s growing reputation for safer vehicles in India.

Maruti Suzuki goes upward in the level of safety demands. Following the recent Victoris SUV, which won top grades in both BNCAP and GNCAP, Invicto has not been left behind since it has become one of the safest vehicles offered in the brand so far.

Results of Bharat NCAP crash tests confirm that Invicto provides great functionality for the safety of both adults and children, relying on the promotion of safer and more reliable family cars as the driving force behind the brand within the high-end MPV segment of the infrastructure.

Crash Test Performance

BNCAP was previewing the Zeta+ and Alpha+ trims of the Invicto, both seven and eight-seat versions. The MPV scored a good figure of 30.43/32 points in adult occupant protection and 45/49 points in child occupant protection. The scores highlight the excellence of the chassis and also the efficiency of the built-in safety systems developed by Maruti.

Safety Equipment

Invicto is backed by a list of features. Standard offerings include:

  • Six airbags

  • ISOFIX child seat mounts

  • Electronic Stability Control (ESC)

  • Pedestrian protection technology

  • Seatbelt reminders for all occupants

  • Three-point seatbelts across all rows

In this package, the Invicto becomes one of the most safety-conscious MPVs of its category that accommodates both family customers and fleet operators, who are concerned with the safety of passengers.

Pricing and Variants

Invicto comes in Zeta+ and Alpha+ versions and costs between 24.97 lakh and 28.60 lakh (ex-showroom, after the 2.0 GST). The buyer has a choice of seven or eight seating designs, which are determined by the requirements.

The Implication of This to Maruti Suzuki

This five-star status of the Invicto on the BNCAP front is not only a success for Maruti but also the Indian consumer, who is also gaining value on safety when making their choices that remain centred on comfort and features. As more of its models receive high rates of safety, Maruti Suzuki is losing its old reputation of focusing more on efficiency than safety and towards global standards.
