Maruti Suzuki Accelerates Expansion With Nexa Studio Showrooms

Maruti Suzuki Accelerates Expansion with Nexa Studio Showrooms

Maruti Suzuki, India's leading automobile manufacturer, has marked a significant milestone by establishing 500 Nexa showrooms across the country. This achievement, reached within just nine years, highlights the brand's commitment to providing a premium automotive experience to its customers. To celebrate this milestone and to further extend its reach, Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of the Nexa Studio showrooms. These new, more compact outlets are specifically designed to cater to the growing demand for premium cars in tier two and tier three cities.

The Evolution of Nexa

Nexa, since its inception, has been Maruti Suzuki's answer to the rising demand for premium cars in India. The brand was introduced with a vision to offer a sophisticated and exclusive buying experience that matched the aspirations of urban customers. Over the years, Nexa showrooms have become synonymous with elegance, offering a range of premium models that include the Baleno, Ignis, XL6 MPV, Fronx, Grand Vitara, and the recently launched Invicto. With a focus on delivering a seamless customer experience, these showrooms have set a new standard in the automotive retail space.

As Maruti Suzuki continues to expand its footprint, the introduction of Nexa Studio outlets represents a strategic move to bring the premium Nexa experience to smaller towns and cities. The company recognizes the growing purchasing power and aspirations of customers in tier two and tier three cities, where demand for premium vehicles is steadily increasing. By establishing Nexa Studio showrooms in these regions, Maruti Suzuki aims to tap into this burgeoning market and strengthen its presence in smaller towns.

Nexa Studio

The Nexa Studio concept is a refined and more compact version of the existing Nexa showrooms. These new outlets are designed to offer the same premium experience as their larger counterparts but in a format that is more suitable for smaller cities. The introduction of these showrooms is not just a strategy to increase visibility in tier two and tier three cities, but also a response to the unique needs of these markets.

Currently, a significant portion of Nexa's sales—around 32 percent—comes from smaller towns. However, many of these sales are facilitated by Nexa outlets located in larger cities, which cater to the surrounding regions. With the launch of Nexa Studio, Maruti Suzuki is set to change this dynamic by providing a dedicated and localized sales and service experience.

Expanding the Nexa Network

Maruti Suzuki has ambitious plans for the Nexa Studio rollout. By the end of the current financial year, the company aims to establish approximately 100 Nexa Studio outlets across the country. Phase 1 of this rollout will see the opening of these showrooms in around 30 cities, strategically chosen to maximize the brand's reach in smaller towns.

These Nexa Studio outlets will offer a comprehensive range of services, including sales, service, and spares. Despite their smaller size, the showrooms will maintain the same luxurious look and feel as the larger Nexa outlets, ensuring a consistent customer experience. Each showroom will feature a two-car display and a dedicated delivery area, allowing customers to enjoy a premium buying experience even in smaller towns.

Importantly, these outlets will be independent setups, rather than extensions of existing Arena outlets. This decision underscores Maruti Suzuki's commitment to maintaining the distinct identity of the Nexa brand, even as it expands into new markets.

The Future of Nexa

The launch of Nexa Studio outlets is a clear indication of Maruti Suzuki's long-term vision for the Nexa brand. By bringing the premium Nexa experience to smaller cities, the company is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the growing market for premium cars in India.

As part of its future strategy, Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to introduce its first born-EV SUV, set to debut globally in January. This new electric vehicle, which is expected to be sold through Nexa showrooms nationwide, represents the next step in the brand's evolution. With a focus on innovation and customer experience, Maruti Suzuki is poised to lead the way in India's premium automotive segment, bringing luxury and sophistication to customers across the country.

In conclusion, the introduction of Nexa Studio showrooms is a testament to Maruti Suzuki's adaptability and forward-thinking approach. By catering to the unique needs of smaller cities, the company is not only expanding its reach but also reinforcing its commitment to delivering a premium automotive experience to all its customers, regardless of location.
