Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Interior And New Features Revealed

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Interior and New Features Revealed

Hyundai has unveiled the interior details of the upcoming Alcazar facelift, set to launch on September 9. The updated SUV not only receives exterior enhancements but also significant interior upgrades inspired by the Creta, alongside new features aimed at improving comfort and convenience.

What's New Inside the Hyundai Alcazar Facelift?

The Alcazar facelift boasts a redesigned dashboard similar to the Creta, featuring a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen placed side by side. The cabin now sports a dual-tone theme, combining Noble Brown (tan) and Haze Navy (dark blue), distinguishing it from the Creta’s interior.

The front and rear captain’s chairs have been recontoured and finished in the same dual-tone color scheme. A major update is the removal of the fixed center console between the second-row captain seats, creating more space and allowing easier access to the third row. The seats now come with larger headrests, foldable extensions, and individual armrests. Hyundai also claims that the new seats offer better cushioning and comfort.

Enhanced Features in the Alcazar Facelift

In the six-seat configuration, all individual seats can be cooled, while in the seven-seat version, this feature is available only for the front seats. The wireless and USB charging pad for the second row is now positioned behind the front row’s armrest. The front seats are electrically adjustable, with the driver's seat featuring a memory function and welcome retract.

The center console has been updated with brushed aluminum trim, housing buttons for drive modes and an electronic parking brake. Higher variants are equipped with automatic climate control, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and blind spot assist. The facelift also retains features like LED lights and a panoramic sunroof from the current model.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Powertrain and Launch Details

The Alcazar facelift continues with the 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and the 115hp, 1.5-litre turbo diesel engines. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT for the petrol engine, and a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque convertor automatic for the diesel. The SUV also retains traction control modes for snow, sand, and mud.

Hyundai will reveal the prices on September 9, with deliveries expected to start by mid-September. Bookings are already open with a token amount of Rs 25,000.
