As Hyundai prepares for the Alcazar facelift's launch on September 9, the company has opened bookings for the refreshed SUV at a token amount of Rs 25,000. While the Alcazar remains mechanically unchanged, it receives notable cosmetic upgrades, including new color options. Here's what you can expect.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Colour Options
The facelifted Alcazar will be available in nine exterior colors, with eight monotone options: Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, and Fiery Red. Among these, Robust Emerald Pearl, Robust Emerald Matte, and Fiery Red are new additions, with Robust Emerald Pearl shared with the Creta. The only dual-tone option available is Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof.
The previous Alcazar offered more dual-tone combinations, including Ranger Khaki and Titan Grey with an Abyss Black roof. Hyundai has discontinued the monotone Typhoon Silver shade for the facelift.
Inside, the Alcazar facelift will feature a dual-tone dark blue and tan interior finish, contrasting with the Creta's black and gray interior.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Engine Specs
The Alcazar facelift will continue with its existing 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engines. A manual gearbox is standard, with the petrol variant offering a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and the diesel variant featuring a 6-speed torque converter.
Hyundai will announce the prices for the Alcazar facelift on September 9, but a slight premium over the current model is expected. The current model ranges from Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 20.64 lakh for petrol versions and Rs 17.78 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh for diesel versions.
