Mahindra Vision S Diesel Automatic Mid Variant with Panoramic Sunroof Spotted

Important information on Mahindra's future Vision S small SUV's mid-spec diesel automatic variant has been leaked once more. The most recent test mule provides a clear view of the feature set, cabin layout, and big panoramic sunroof, suggesting a significant emphasis on utility and comfort. The Vision S is emerging as a unique new player in the sub-4-meter SUV market because of its tough design, contemporary amenities, and diesel-automatic drivetrain.

  • The Mahindra Vision S mid-spec diesel automatic is being tested on the road, according to recent spy photos.

  • A panoramic sunroof, tough design elements, and an interior layout that closely adheres to the concept are highlights.

The much-awaited Vision S small SUV from Mahindra has once again surfaced behind thick camouflage, and the most recent spy photos provide new hints about what the production-ready car might have to offer. These images show a mid-spec diesel version with an automatic transmission and a number of useful features that point to the SUV's impending arrival.

Rugged Appearance and Diesel-Automatic Power

The confirmation of a diesel engine and automatic transmission, which are comparatively uncommon in this class of sub-4-meter SUVs, is the most startling revelation from the current sighting.

A BS6 Phase-2 compatible diesel arrangement is evident from the AdBlue filler adjacent to the diesel cap, and the test mule's automatic gearbox is confirmed by the gear lever inside.

With flat surfaces and squared-off proportions that allude to a tough and daring personality, the Vision S's exterior retains its aggressive, boxy attitude. The design appears to remain faithful to the initial concept presented last year, combining off-road influences with urban utility, even though it is still extensively hidden.

Details of the Interior Echo Concept Design

The interior of the spied Vision S is very similar to the previously unveiled concept model. The architecture of the dashboard and center console seems to have remained mostly unaltered, with the infotainment and climate control tactile buttons kept for user convenience.

The driver's cabin has a contemporary vibe thanks to a huge touchscreen entertainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

Even though this is a mid-trim example, elements like a conventional steering wheel and cloth upholstery indicate a practical focus; higher trims are probably going to have more upscale accents.

Practical Cabin and Panoramic Sunroof

The panoramic sunroof, which extends well into the back seats, is one of the most notable elements seen in the most current photos. It is a unique addition to the compact SUV market and could be a selling point for customers looking for a high-end experience.

A 60:40 split rear seat and adjustable headrests for all three passengers seem to be clever family-friendly features at the back of the Vision S, which should enhance usage and space flexibility.

The Vision S is anticipated to appear before the 2027 model year, supported by Mahindra's new NU IQ platform, which will probably support a number of future SUVs, even though the firm has not yet disclosed an official launch date. In an effort to compete in the expanding market for small SUVs, rumoured powerplant options include both gasoline and diesel units.
