Mahindra is likely to launch its next-gen Bolero sometime between 2026-2027 to improve its sales in small towns and cities.
Mahindra & Mahindra has dedicated themselves towards Electic Vehicles for a long time but it seems like they have not forgotten their ground. With an investment of over 10,000 crores towards this domain, Mahindra is all set to unveil its Bolero based on an all-new U171 architecture.
The Next-gen Mahindra Bolero will be offering a boxy look, superior exterior, and spacious interior. It will probably have three turbocharged engine choices, multiple seating arrangements, and will be based on a ladder-on-frame chassis. Along with a compact look will feature a muscular bonnet, a new front grille, skid plates, and a wide air dam.

The Next-gen is also all set to give an ALL LED Setup for lighting as it is likely to house LED headlamps with LED DRLs as well as LED taillamps. Mahindra didn’t just stop here, it brought forth the availability of this car in different engines. The engines are as follows: a 132hp, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel mill; a 121hp, 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel motor sourced from the Marazzo; and a 150hp, 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit.
Not only the exterior is filled with renovations but the interior will also have automatic windows, a multifunctional instrument screen, a new AC unit with rear vents, a large cabin with different seating combinations, and a touchscreen infotainment system with a smartphone connection.
With an average cost of around 8-9 Lakhs, The Next-gen Mahindra Bolero will set its feet by 2026 along with nine new cars that are also planned to be launched by Mahindra from 2024 to 2026.
