Kia has launched the Sonnet Aurochs Edition at a starting price of Rs.11.85 lakh to the top trim priced at Rs. 13.45 lakh.
The Auroch's name is inspired by the extinct cattle.
The company has announced the Kia Sonnet Aurochs Edition, and prices start at Rs. 11.85 for the base trim to Rs 13.45 lakh for the top trim. The car is available in four trims with both diesel and petrol options. The Sonnet Aurochs has tangerine accents on the skid plates, doors, and grille.
The Aurochs badging is on the front grille as well. The skid plates have dual-tone colouring, and the profile also gets a similar treatment. Overall, the whole design makes the Sonnet looks colourful and busy with visual elements. The Aurochs Edition is offered in four colours: Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl.
The feature list includes remote engine start and stop, rear AC vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, drive modes, traction modes, four airbags, height-adjustable driver seat, cruise control, automatic climate control, flat-bottom steering wheel, and smart key with push-button start to name a few.
Engine options include a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine makes a good 120 bhp and 172 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed iMT and a seven-speed DCT for the petrol engine. The diesel engine makes a good 116 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. This comes coupled with a six-speed iMT or a six-speed automatic.
