Kia has achieved rapid success in the Indian car market. It is among the top companies selling the maximum number of cars in the country. Its Seltos and Sonet have received very good response from the customers. Now the company has geared up for the next year i.e. 2024.

The company will launch the facelift version of Sonet at the beginning of the year itself. Then in the year 2024 itself, the new Carnival and EV9 can also be launched. The company has confirmed that it is considering cars bigger than Seltos for the Indian market. However, specific details about the products have not been revealed yet.

It is noteworthy that Kia showcased the KA4 RV (Recreational Vehicle) concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. This was essentially the new Carnival, which is available for sale in many international markets. Apart from this, Kia also showcased its EV9 electric SUV concept at the 2023 Auto Expo itself.

Currently, its production version is also available in international markets. In such a situation, when Kia is considering cars bigger than Seltos for the Indian market, the most likely possibility is that these two cars will be launched. Let us tell you that the company used to sell Carnival in India earlier but it was discontinued.

Sonet facelift will be launched first by Kia in the year 2024. It will be made available in 11 colour options and 7 variants like HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX+ and X-Line. Its front fascia and rear section have been revised. The cabin features a new digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen and ventilated front seats. Along with this, ADAS Level-1 has also been given.

The previous engine options are – 1.2-litre NA petrol engine (82bhp and 115Nm), 1.5-litre diesel engine (114bhp and 250Nm) and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (118bhp and 172Nm). Talking about transmission, 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DCT are available.
