A voluntary recall of 1,380 EV6 units produced between March 3, 2022, and April 14, 2023, has been announced by Kia India. A software update in the integrated charging control unit (ICCU) is being recalled in order to enhance the 12V auxiliary battery's performance and charging procedure.
