Joy Alukkas Owner purchases a brand-new Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV

The latest update from Kerala's luxury car scene features Mr. Joy Alukkas, the chairman and managing director of Joyalukkas Group, adding a brand new Rolls Royce Cullinan to his impressive collection. It appears that the trend of Indian businessmen opting for high-end automobiles is gaining traction, with Mr. Alukkas becoming the proud owner of the seventh Rolls Royce Cullinan in Kerala.

The unveiling of Mr. Joy Alukkas's Rolls Royce Cullinan was captured in a captivating video shared by EISK 77 on their Instagram, revealing the striking Salamanca Blue finish of the SUV. Reportedly, the interior boasts a sophisticated Moccasin shade, harmonizing with the luxurious exterior detailed with golden pinstriping. The Rolls Royce Cullinan, the illustrious brand's inaugural SUV model, has become a sought-after choice among affluent buyers, including prominent Indian personalities and celebrities, showcasing elegance and opulence at its best.

Impressively, the Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV is propelled by a robust 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged petrol engine, delivering a formidable 569 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque, matched with an efficient 8-speed automatic transmission. Crafted to epitomize unparalleled comfort and refinement, the Cullinan promises a serene cabin ambiance, superb ride quality, and an array of lavish amenities that define the Rolls Royce legacy.

In the realm of luxury customization, Rolls Royce caters to discerning customers with bespoke options that elevate the Cullinan's exclusivity and elevate its value. The standard variant of the Cullinan commences at Rs 6.95 crore, ex-showroom. Notably, this new acquisition marks another addition to Mr. Joy Alukkas's opulent car collection, which already includes a Rolls Royce Ghost Series I sedan, alongside other prestigious vehicles. Furthermore, his son, John Alukkas, shares the family's passion for exquisite automobiles, boasting an impressive lineup of luxury cars and a high-performance superbike.

The trend of acquiring Rolls Royce Cullinans is not limited to Mr. Alukkas, as other affluent personalities in Kerala have also embraced this elite SUV, enhancing the state's landscape with a total of seven Cullinans, including the coveted Black Badge variant. Noteworthy mentions include multi-Cullinan owners like Kalyan Jewellers owner T. S. Kalyanaraman and Lulu group founder M. A Yusuf Ali, who have embraced the iconic Rolls Royce vehicles as symbols of luxury and sophistication.

The Rolls Royce brand's allure extends beyond automobiles, with Mr. Kalyanaraman's previous acquisitions of multiple Rolls Royce Phantom models and ownership of esteemed aircraft like the Embraer Legacy 650 private jet and Bell 427 helicopter adding another layer of luxury to his prestigious collection. Notably, the Black Badge variant of the Rolls Royce Cullinan, with enhanced power outputs, commands a premium starting price of approximately Rs 10 crore, exemplifying the pinnacle of luxury in the automotive realm.
