Hyundais Genesis Shows Off X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo A Supercar You Cant Buy

Hyundai’s Genesis shows off X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo: A supercar you can’t buy

Genesis, a Luxury car brand of Hyundai is greatly fond of showing off their cars that they do not plan to sell. They have now rolled out their latest showoff with X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo which is anticipated to be an insane machine, unintended for production for the buyers. This latest concept car was unveiled at the Busan International Mobility Show in 2024. Let’s delve into the details of this supercar even if we can’t own one:

Striking Exterior Design

The X Gran Racer Vision GT Concept boasts an aggressive and aerodynamic exterior design. The front end is highlighted by carbon fibre canards and a more pronounced splitter. Vents have been added to the fenders, and the side skirts have been modified to accommodate a significantly larger diffuser at the rear. The rear is further enhanced with a large wing featuring integrated LEDs and a centre fin, giving the car a look reminiscent of Le Mans race cars.

The car's paint job, called Magma, is a signature of high-performance Genesis models and contrasts sharply with the exposed carbon fibre components. The concept also features a new set of centre-lock wheels covered in Michelin slicks, complete with aero discs at the front.

Impressive Technical Specifications

Under the hood, the X Gran Racer Vision GT Concept is powered by a hybrid V6 engine that produces an astonishing 1,519 horsepower and 1,427 Nm of torque. This is a significant upgrade from the electrified V6 engine of the X Gran Berlinetta, which generated 1,056 horsepower and 1,337 Nm of torque.

The increased power comes from a modified electric motor that now produces 661 horsepower, compared to the 198 horsepower of the previous concept. The mid-mounted Lambda II V6 engine, supported by an electronic supercharger, maintains its output of 858 horsepower, contributing to the car's incredible performance.

Advanced Interior Design

The interior of the X Gran Racer Vision GT Concept is designed with motorsports in mind. Most surfaces are covered in Alcantara, complemented by carbon fibre accents and reworked switchgear. A new yoke steering wheel, equipped with integrated dials and buttons, allows the driver to easily adjust the chassis configuration.

The Digital Panorama Interface remains a key feature of the dashboard, and the centre console has been slimmed down to include more switches. Safety has also been enhanced with stronger cross beams in the doors, a roll bar under the headrests, and an integrated roll cage, making the car safer for high-speed track use.

To sum up, The Genesis X Gran Racer Vision GT Concept showcases the brand's commitment to innovative design and high performance. While this car will only be available to drive in the Gran Turismo video game, its influence on future Genesis vehicles is clear. The aggressive styling, powerful hybrid engine, and advanced interior features make this concept a standout in the automotive world. As Genesis continues to push the boundaries of design and technology, car enthusiasts can look forward to exciting developments in the years to come.
