Hyundai Gives a Sneak Peek of the Ioniq 6 N Before Global Launch

Hyundai has shared preview images of its new high-performance electric sedan, the Ioniq 6 N. It is set to launch next month, combining the raw power and advanced features of the Ioniq 5 N with a more refined design and aerodynamic curves designed to excite EV lovers.

Hyundai has shared a first look at the -awaited Ioniq 6 N, which is the performance edition of its electric sedan. Building on the strong reception of the Ioniq 5 N, this upcoming model is designed to attract EV fans who want an exciting driving experience in a slimmer sportier coupe-like design. Hyundai plans to unveil it next month almost two years after the worldwide debut of the Ioniq 5 N.

Design: A Sporty Take on Aerodynamics

The teaser images don't show the whole car, but they give a glimpse of its bold design. A sleek stance, prominent wheel arches, and a wide track point to a sportier vibe compared to the hatchback version.

Unlike the boxy Ioniq 5 N, the Ioniq 6 N seems to embrace a smoother, more streamlined look meant to boost style and performance on the road.

Powertrain and Performance: Following a Well-Tested Formula

Hyundai hasn’t revealed every detail yet, but the Ioniq 6 N will feature the same powerful setup as the Ioniq 5 N. It has a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with an 84kWh battery pack that produces 641bhp and 740Nm of torque.

The Ioniq 5 N achieves a 0- 100 kmph run in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260 kmph. Similar performance numbers, if not better, are expected from the Ioniq 6 N.

EV Wizardry: Simulated Gears and Drift Modes

Hyundai worked hard to recreate the thrilling experience of a gas-powered sports car in the Ioniq 5 N, even though it’s electric. It included features such as drift and drag modes, gear shift simulation, and adjustable torque distribution. These upgrades gave the vehicle a distinct driving style. Hyundai appears set to bring these same features to the Ioniq 6 N ensuring it delivers strong performance with an electric twist.

Hyundai shows clear ambition to create an exciting choice for driving enthusiasts as the competition in performance EVs grows. The upcoming global reveal will show just how far they’ve gone to combine electric power with true driving enjoyment.
