Hyundai has teased a sketch of its upcoming subcompact SUV Exter in the form of a design sketch. The Exter will slot itself right below the Hyundai Venue in the company’s fleet of cars.
The sketch shows Exter carrying an angular design theme along with sufficient cuts and creases to boast a sporty character. The company says the Exter is designed around the Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy and looks the part.
The front fascia is flanked by “H” shaped LED DRLs that double as indicators and sit atop the projector LED headlamp unit. The grille is wide and houses the headlamp setup giving it an off-road look. The sketch also shows busy lines running across the hood and the shoulder of the car, which carries the sporty theme. The side profile can be expected to have flared wheel arches by taking the hints of the front fascia. It also gets roof rails.
The company is yet to reveal further details of the car, and we can expect the interiors to have a fully digital touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, USB charging ports, an Air purifier, a wireless charging pad, multifunctional steering wheel, and a semi or fully digital MID to name a few.
The safety features on the Exter can be expected to be brimmed up to the gills. This may include ABS with EBD, a rearview camera with parking sensors, ESP, hill hold assist, multiple airbags, and auto headlamps.
