Hyundai has revealed the rear end of the Exter that is all set to launch on July 10.
It will take on the likes of the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch and Citroen C3 to name a few. The rear part of the sub-compact SUV has an angular finish. There is an integrated spoiler on the roof which gives it a sporty look, the taillamp gets the “H” shaped design that can be seen on the headlamps too. The loading lip for the Hyundai Exter looks to be a little high and the lines or creases seen on the front face and the profile continue to make their way to the rear end as well.
The badging for the name and the trim can be expected to be placed on either side and right below the taillamp unit. It can be seen that the lettering is normal as opposed to the wide pattern that we are used to on Hyundai cars. The exhaust looks to be concealed behind the faux skid plate. The company has been creating hype around the vehicle with posts on its social handle regarding the features and offerings of the Hyundai Exter.
The car will feature a dash cam and will even respond to voice commands. It will come with a 2.31-inch LCD dashcam unit with a dual-camera setup, both front and rear, with smartphone connectivity and multiple recording modes: Driving (Normal), Event (Safety) and Vacation (Timelapse). It supports HD recording from both front and rear cameras.
The car will also come with six airbags as standard, and the company has started accepting bookings for its upcoming SUV for a token amount of ₹11,000. Other safety features include electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, 3-point seat belt and seatbelt reminder(all seats), ABS with EBD, burglar alarm, dashcam with a dual camera, TPMS, ISOFIX, headlamp escort function, rear parking camera and more.
The Hyundai Exter will be offered in seven trims: EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect. The Hyundai Exter will also be offered in a CNG guise for the S and the SX trim.
