Hyundai Brings Wireless CarPlay to Six More Models

Hyundai India has expanded its popular wired-to-wireless adapter, first launched in the Alcazar in April 2025, to six additional models, such as the Grand i10 Nios and Verna, enhancing seamless in-car connectivity for tech-savvy drivers across its lineup.

Hyundai India is upping its connectivity game. After debuting the wired-to-wireless CarPlay and Android Auto adapter in the Alcazar back in April 2025, the automaker is now offering the same feature across six more models.

Priced at Rs. 4,499, this plug-and-play accessory lets drivers enjoy hands-free smartphone use without being tethered by cords.

Feature Expansion

With the surge in demand for seamless in-car tech, Hyundai’s adapter converts the existing wired connection into a wireless one. Users simply plug the adapter into the infotainment unit’s USB port and pair their phone over Bluetooth. The result is instant wireless access to navigation, music, and calls—just like a factory-fitted system.

Compatible Models

The Rs. 4,499 adapter is now available for these six Hyundai cars equipped with the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system:

  • Grand i10 Nios

  • Exter

  • Verna

  • Aura

  • Venue

  • Venue N Line

Each of these models can now deliver the convenience of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, matching the luxury-car experience in Hyundai’s premium SUVs.

Future Rollouts

Hyundai hasn’t stopped here. The brand plans to introduce the adapter to its other popular cars soon, including:

  • Creta

  • Creta N Line

  • Creta Electric

  • i20

  • i20 N Line

  • Tucson

While exact launch dates are yet to be announced, owners of these models can look forward to an official update from the dealership in the coming months.

Installation Requirements

It’s important to note that the adapter only works with Hyundai vehicles featuring the larger 10.25-inch touchscreen. Models with the standard 8-inch infotainment unit already come with wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as a built-in feature.

If you own one of the six newly supported cars, simply visit your nearest Hyundai service center or authorized dealer to purchase and install the adapter—it’s a quick fitment that takes just a few minutes.

Overall, by extending its wired-to-wireless adapter to six more models, Hyundai India continues to prioritize driver comfort and digital convenience.

Priced affordably at Rs. 4,499, this upgrade bridges the gap between traditional wired connections and today’s demand for seamless, cable-free interactions. Whether you’re navigating city streets or embarking on a highway drive, wireless smartphone mirroring keeps you connected safely and effortlessly.
