Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Front Design Previewed In Fresh Spy Shots

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Front Design Previewed in Fresh Spy Shots

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of its popular SUV, the Alcazar. Fresh spy shots have given us a glimpse of the updated front design and hinted at several new features. Here’s what we know so far:

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Styling Details

The recent spy shots reveal several new styling elements for the Hyundai Alcazar facelift:

  • LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs): The DRLs now feature a new 'H' element, distinguishing them from those on the Creta. It remains to be seen if a connecting light bar will link the two DRLs in the middle.

  • Grille Design: The grille has been slightly enlarged compared to the Creta and now sports horizontal slats.

  • Headlamp Unit: The vertically stacked main headlamp unit appears similar to the current design.

  • Alloy Wheels: A new alloy wheel design adds to the refreshed look of the SUV.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Features and Powertrain

Inside, the Alcazar facelift is expected to share the same dashboard layout as the Creta facelift:

  • Infotainment and Instrument Cluster: Dual 10.25-inch infotainment screens and a similarly sized digital instrument cluster.

  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): A significant addition to enhance safety.

  • Seating Configurations: The Alcazar will continue to offer 6- and 7-seater configurations.

The powertrain options are likely to remain unchanged:

  • 1.5-Litre Turbo-Petrol Engine: Producing 160hp and 253Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT).

  • 1.5-Litre Diesel Engine: Delivering 116hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT).

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Launch Timeline and Price

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is expected to hit the Indian market by October 2024. With the updates and new features, a slight increase in price is anticipated. Currently, the Alcazar is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will continue to rival the likes of the Mahindra XUV700, Scorpio N, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus.
