Hyundai has introduced the facelifted version of the Alcazar SUV, now available at showrooms across India. The refreshed Alcazar, known for its spacious design and premium features, offers four distinct variants: Platinum, Signature, Prestige, and Executive. These cater to different customer preferences, each packed with an array of technological advancements and luxury amenities.
The Alcazar facelift comes with a diverse palette of nine exterior colour options, ensuring that buyers can pick a style that suits their taste. These colours include Robust Emerald, Starry Night, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Grey Matte, and Robust Emerald Matte. Additionally, a dual-tone option is available with Atlas White paired with a black roof, adding a sporty touch to the SUV's appearance.
Top-Spec Features for Enhanced Comfort and Safety
The facelifted Alcazar offers a wealth of features, particularly in the top-spec variants. Among the standout elements is the large panoramic sunroof that floods the cabin with natural light. It also boasts wireless charging options for smartphones, ensuring easy connectivity on the go. Dual-zone climate control enhances passenger comfort, while the ventilated front and second-row seats make long drives more enjoyable.
Safety is a priority, with the Alcazar's Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keeping assist. A 360-degree surround camera with blind spot monitoring ensures that drivers have maximum visibility in various driving conditions. The digital instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity further elevate the SUV’s high-tech profile.
Engine Options and Performance
The new Hyundai Alcazar facelift offers two powertrain choices to cater to different driving needs. Buyers can opt for the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which balances performance with fuel efficiency, or the 1.5-litre diesel engine known for its torque and long-distance efficiency. The petrol variant is rated to deliver up to 18 kmpl, while the diesel option provides an impressive mileage of 20.4 kmpl, as per ARAI certification.
A Versatile Premium SUV
Positioned above the Creta and below the larger Tucson in Hyundai’s lineup, the Alcazar facelift competes with models like the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, and Kia Carens. Its combination of powerful engine options, modern safety features, and premium amenities makes it a strong contender in the mid-size SUV market.
With deliveries starting and the vehicle arriving in showrooms, the new Hyundai Alcazar facelift is poised to attract both families and individual buyers looking for luxury, comfort, and practicality.
