Tata Motors is going all out right now, launching drastically improved new cars. The facelifts of the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari demonstrated this. Tata is now entering the compact SUV market with the Curvv, which currently has nine competitors. Despite being positioned higher than the Nexon, the Curvv and its smaller SUV sibling will share certain similarities.
However, how distinct is the Tata Curvv from the Nexon? Let's examine this.
Curvv VS Nexon: Exterior and interior
Exterior: With its slim and elegant appearance, the Tata Nexon blends the utility of an SUV with the fashion of a sports coupe. It features tough cladding, a large grille with a tri-arrow theme, dynamic proportions, raised ride height, and a dual-barrel projector headlamp setup with integrated tri-arrow LED DRLs. Similarly, Curvv will feature a large lower air dam with a grooved pattern, tough cladding, aerodynamic features, a high-gloss black finish, a slim upper DRL, and a triangular headlamp design. In addition, the Curvv boasts signature LED lamps that surround the rear screen and connect to a horizontal light bar. The connected LED DRL setup seen on the facelifted Tata Nexon EV will also be available on the Curvv.
Interior: The Curvv will have two digital displays—one for infotainment and the other for the driver's cluster—just like the recently redesigned Nexon. The 10.25-inch digital driver display will remain the same, but it may receive the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen found on the Nexon EV. Additional common features will be linked car technology, wireless phone charging, air conditioning, height-adjustable front seats, and cruise control.
Safety Features: Regarding security, we anticipate that it will come equipped with the Nexon's suite of safety features, which consists of six airbags, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Additionally, Tata will equip the Curvv with a few advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
Comparable Diesel & Petro l Engine Options: Both the Curvv and Nexon's ICE variants will come with a 1.5-liter diesel engine and a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine.
