In response to economic dynamics impacting the automotive sector, Honda Cars India has revealed plans for a second wave of price increases slated to take effect from April 2024, affecting its entire vehicle range. This move follows an earlier price adjustment implemented in January and is expected to influence models across the spectrum, including the Elevate, City, and Amaze series. While the exact percentage increase has yet to be officially disclosed, customers can anticipate adjustments in the pricing structure to be reflective of prevailing market conditions.
The Honda Amaze, serving as an entry-level offering, currently starts at Rs 7.16 lakh, while the premium Elevate begins at Rs. 11.58 lakh. Among consumers, the Honda City enjoys considerable popularity, commencing at Rs. 11.71 lakh, while its hybrid variant, the City e:HEV, is priced from Rs. 18.89 lakh, excluding taxes and additional charges.
Simultaneously, Honda is rolling out special year-end promotions for March 2024, aimed at enticing customers with attractive offers. These promotions include discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 on the Elevate and benefits reaching up to Rs. 90,000 on the Amaze. Notably, the Honda City leads in discount offers, providing savings of up to Rs. 1.20 lakh for the month of March.

Honda's latest lineup features several new models boasting distinctive features and performance capabilities. The Honda Amaze, for instance, is equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, producing 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. This compact sedan offers both CVT and manual transmission options to cater to diverse driving preferences.
On the other hand, the Honda City is available in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims, powered by a 1.5-litre petrol powertrain generating 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. In 2023, Honda introduced the Elevate model, furnished with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, positioning it against popular models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Volkswagen Taigun in its segment.
