The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V has been launched in three variants: Standard, Connected 2.0, and Pro, with prices starting at Rs. 1.27 lakh for the Standard, Rs. 1.32 lakh for the Connected 2.0 Rs. 1.36 lakh for the Pro, respectively.
Powering the Xtreme 160R 4V is a 163 cc, four-valve, air-oil cooled, BS-VI (OBD-II+E20) compliant engine coupled to a five-speed gearbox that generates a maximum power output of 16.6 bhp at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm.
The company claims a 0-60 kmph sprint in 4.41 seconds. Suspension duties are done by a 37 mm KYB USD fork for the front section and a seven-step pre-load adjustable unit at the rear. Braking is done by a 276 mm petal disc for the front section and a 220 mm unit at the rear attached to the 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is 2029 mm long, 793 mm wide, and 1052 mm tall with a wheelbase of 1333 mm and a seat height of 165 mm. It tips the scales at 144 kg for the Standard model and 145 kg for the Pro variant and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 litres for all variants.
Noteworthy features include an all-LED package, Hero Connect 2.0, which comes with remote immobilisation, geo-fence, theft alerts, SOS alert, low fuel alerts, over-speeding alerts, topple alerts, navigation, vehicle tracking, driving reports and Bluetooth tethering, to name a few.
The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is offered in six colour schemes: Blazing Sports Red, Matt Slate Black, Matt Slate Black, Neon Shooting Star and Matt Slate Black.
