Details Inside Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line Prices Raised in India

For the first time since their introduction, Hyundai has announced a price increase for the sportier Venue N Line and the new Venue in India. The top-spec Venue HX10 stays the same, but other trims see price increases of ₹10,000 to ₹20,000. A uniform raise has also been applied to all Venue N Line versions. Crucially, the engines, gearboxes, and features remain unchanged, maintaining the integrity of the entire package.

  • Following the most recent revision, there are significant price adjustments for the new Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line models.

  • Information about which trims are impacted, how much costs have gone up, and what hasn't changed.

Prices for Hyundai India's recently introduced second-generation Venue and the sportier Venue N Line have been adjusted. This is the first official price rise since both models were introduced. Both market demand and growing input prices impacting the automobile industry as a whole are reflected in the changes, which differ by trim and version.

Most base and higher trims in the regular Venue range now have price increases of about ₹10,000, while the mid-range HX5 models have seen price increases of between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000. It's interesting to note that this update has not affected the top-spec Venue HX10, keeping its prior price.

With a consistent increase of almost ₹10,000, all Venue N Line models, which add a sportier taste to the array of small SUVs, are now more expensive.

What's New and What's Not

The mechanical features of both models remain the same despite the price increase. The 1.2-liter gasoline, 1.0-liter turbo-petrol, and 1.5-liter diesel engine options are still available for the basic Venue. The peppier 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which comes with a manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox, is still the only option available for the Venue N Line.

Following the revision, the starting price for the base Venue now ranges from approximately ₹7.99 lakh (ex-showroom) to approximately ₹15.69 lakh for the variants at the top of the range. Starting at about ₹10.65 lakh (ex-showroom), the Venue N Line has a more athletic appearance.

In the Indian auto industry, price changes are a common occurrence that are sometimes caused by a combination of rising material costs, shifting exchange rates, and logistical costs. In competitive markets like sub-four-meter SUVs, price increases so soon after a model's launch may have an impact on consumer choices.

The most important lesson for potential buyers is that, despite the fact that most variations are now more costly, the higher-end Venue HX10's same pricing may provide superior value for buyers with lots of features.

Similarly, aficionados looking for crisper style and performance signals without significant feature improvements would find it easier to accept the little increase in N Line costs.

Before making a purchase, buyers are advised to check the most recent ex-showroom and on-road prices at their local dealer.
