Highlights the most important changes. Skoda is adding new Classic+ and Prestige+ models to the Kylaq portfolio.
Examines the features, anticipated launch date, and what consumers can anticipate in 2026.
In an attempt to increase the model's appeal and provide more amenities across all trim levels, Skoda has announced plans to launch two new Kylaq compact SUV versions: Classic+ and Prestige+.
The first quarter of 2026 is anticipated to see the arrival of these additions, which will be positioned alongside current models in the portfolio. In addition to this, Skoda has stated that a sportier-looking Sportline variant will be released later this year.
Prestige+, Restoring the Top
At the opposite end of the Kylaq lineup, Skoda intends to develop an upgraded Prestige+ model that will add more features to the current Prestige model.
Reports indicate that the Prestige+ may have improvements like 360-degree cameras and other comfort or safety features that were not previously offered in the standard Prestige trim, while the specifics of each new feature are still pending confirmation.
This version is probably going to cost a little more than the top-spec model that is already available.
Mid-Range and Sportline Models
Skoda will continue to offer mid-range models like Signature and Signature+ in addition to Classic+ and Prestige+. These models are anticipated to receive additional options as part of the upgrade, such as a sunroof, rear and automated wipers, and paddle shifters for automatic versions.
Although it won't alter the SUV's technical configuration, a Sportline version is anticipated later in 2026 to offer a sportier look with cosmetic improvements.
Anticipated Costs and Market Positioning
Although costs for the future Kylaq Classic+ and Prestige+ models have not been formally disclosed by Skoda, one might base estimates on the present Kylaq range. The base trim of the compact SUV now costs around ₹7 lakh, while the fully loaded automatic variant costs up to ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Classic+ is probably going to cost a little more than the current Classic trim because it has more convenience features and is available with an automatic transmission. In a similar vein, the Prestige+ is anticipated to fetch a little higher price than the existing top-spec Prestige, which is supported by new technology and safety improvements. When the product launches in early 2026, final prices are anticipated to be revealed.
The new models broaden the Kylaq lineup, offering consumers additional options with greater feature sets at different pricing points. These upgrades are intended to maintain the Kylaq's competitiveness against competitors, given the increasing demand in India for feature-rich sub-4-meter SUVs.
Nearer to their market debut in early 2026, specific launch dates and pricing details are anticipated to be established.
