As Prime Minister Narendra Modi gears up to inaugurate the long-awaited Dwarka Expressway, the Delhi Traffic Police has announced significant traffic restrictions in multiple areas of Dwarka on Monday.
The inauguration ceremony, scheduled to take place in Dwarka Sector-25, will prompt traffic regulations from 8 am to 2 pm, according to officials.
Key areas where traffic movement will be regulated include:
Dhulsiras Chowk
Sector 8/9 Xing
D.G.S/ Carmel Chowk, Sector-20
Janki Chowk Near Police Station, Sector-23
Pochanpur Flyover, Sector-23 Chowk
Near Transport Authority Office, Sector-21
Dwarka Metro Station and Pacific Mall Cut, Golf Course Road to Dhulsiras Chowk and Bamnoli
Bharthal Chowk to Dhulsiras Chowk and Chhawla Road.
Authorities advise commuters heading to railway stations, hospitals, and ISBT to plan their journeys, allowing for potential delays along the route. They strongly encourage the use of public transport to alleviate congestion on the roads.
In adherence to the regulations, commuters are urged to park their vehicles only in designated parking lots and comply with the instructions of traffic personnel stationed at various intersections.
The inauguration of the Dwarka Expressway marks a significant milestone in the infrastructure development of Delhi, promising improved connectivity and smoother traffic flow.
