2025 Honda Amaze Teased With Stylish Redesign And New Tech Features

2025 Honda Amaze Teased with Stylish Redesign and New Tech Features

The eagerly awaited next-generation Honda Amaze has finally been teased, and the new design sketch offers a fresh look at what to expect from the popular subcompact sedan. Expected to make its debut in early 2024 with a potential launch at the 2025 Auto Expo, the new Amaze promises an upgraded, sharper aesthetic and advanced features to keep pace with the growing competition in its segment.

Bolder Front Design

The teaser sketch provides a glimpse of the Amaze’s front fascia, which now sports a sleeker, more aggressive appearance. The headlights appear slimmer and are set to include new LED DRLs, reminiscent of those on Honda’s latest SUV, the Elevate. Complementing this change is a redesigned grille, creating a bolder, more dynamic nose for the Amaze. While Honda has yet to reveal the side and rear profiles, we can expect updates to the rear bumper, tail lights, and possibly a fresh set of alloy wheels to match the modernized front.

Updated Cabin with New Technology

Honda has not released official images of the cabin, but sources suggest a refreshed dashboard layout and dual-tone cabin theme that enhance the interior's premium feel. The new Amaze is expected to come equipped with an array of new tech features, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless smartphone connectivity. Other anticipated interior upgrades include a single-pane sunroof and a wireless phone charger, both of which would bring a touch of luxury to the compact sedan. On the safety front, the new Amaze is likely to offer 6 airbags as standard, along with electronic stability control (ESC) and a rearview camera, aligning it with modern safety standards.

Same Reliable Engine Under the Hood

The new-generation Amaze is expected to continue with the proven 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine currently in use. This engine produces 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque, available with a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission, a combination that has proven efficient and reliable in the current generation. While the powertrain remains familiar, Honda might make slight enhancements to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.

Expected Price and Competition

Honda is expected to price the new Amaze starting around Rs 7.50 lakh (ex-showroom), keeping it competitive within the subcompact sedan segment. It will face off against rivals like the upcoming Maruti Dzire, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura. With these rivals all vying for space in the affordable sedan market, Honda’s focus on design enhancements and feature upgrades should help the Amaze stand out among consumers seeking style, safety, and convenience in their daily drive.

Conclusion

The new-generation Honda Amaze has garnered attention even before its official unveiling, thanks to its anticipated design and feature upgrades. With its sharper styling, enhanced safety, and tech-friendly features, the 2025 Amaze is set to be a strong contender, appealing to a broader range of customers looking for a compact yet premium sedan.
