The 2025 Honda Amaze 5 Game Changing Features Expected To Set A New Benchmark

The 2025 Honda Amaze: 5 Game-Changing Features Expected to Set a New Benchmark

The Honda Amaze has long been a strong contender in the compact sedan segment, appealing to urban drivers with its efficient engine options, sleek design, and well-rounded feature set. However, as competition heats up with rivals like the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Maruti Dzire, Honda is gearing up to release the third-generation Amaze before the end of 2024, promising a slew of new features that may elevate its appeal further.

Let’s take a closer look at the top five features expected to make the new 2025 Honda Amaze a must-consider for buyers in the compact sedan segment.

1. A Bigger, More Interactive Touchscreen

In today’s tech-savvy world, touchscreen displays have become a central feature for in-car entertainment and connectivity. The current Amaze model comes with a 7-inch touchscreen, which holds up well in its segment. However, Hyundai’s Aura has upped the ante with an 8-inch unit, setting a new standard.

Honda is anticipated to equip the new Amaze with a larger 8-inch touchscreen display, likely similar to the one used in the Honda City. This upgrade would enhance the user experience by offering a more vibrant display, a more intuitive layout, and potentially additional functionality. A bigger touchscreen would not only improve visibility and accessibility but also give the interior a more premium, modern feel, helping the Amaze compete better in a crowded market.

2. Introduction of a Sunroof – A First for the Amaze!

Adding a sunroof has become almost a necessity for carmakers targeting younger, urban buyers who view it as a desirable feature. In recent years, sunroofs have gained popularity among Indian drivers, seen as a touch of luxury and a way to enjoy the outdoors while on the move. This is a feature Honda has already incorporated in some of its other models, like the City and the Elevate SUV.

The 2025 Honda Amaze is expected to feature a single-pane sunroof, a first for the Amaze lineup. This addition could enhance the appeal of the car, giving it a more upscale feel while allowing Honda to stay competitive against rivals that have already added sunroofs to their offerings.

3. Wireless Phone Charging – Added Convenience, Less Clutter

For many drivers, a wireless charging pad has become a sought-after convenience, freeing up the space from messy cables that can interfere with shifting and other controls. The addition of a wireless charger would be a welcome upgrade, aligning with the trend toward cleaner and more organized interior spaces.

By offering wireless charging, Honda would address a common pain point for tech-savvy users who rely on their devices for navigation, communication, and entertainment. This feature is also especially helpful on long drives, where the need for frequent charging can make a wireless pad a handy addition to the console.

4. Six Airbags as Standard – Enhanced Safety for All

Safety is an increasing priority for Indian car buyers, and automakers are responding by making additional airbags a standard feature. When Honda updated the safety features on the City and Elevate, it raised expectations for the Amaze. Currently, the Amaze offers fewer airbags as standard, but with the 2025 model, Honda is likely to equip all variants with six airbags, providing increased protection for both driver and passengers.

This move would bring the Amaze in line with newer safety standards and regulations, helping it appeal to buyers who prioritize peace of mind and family safety. With this upgrade, Honda would join the ranks of manufacturers setting new benchmarks for safety in the sub-4-meter sedan category.

5. A Semi-Digital Driver’s Display – Modernizing the Cockpit

While the current Amaze features two analogue dials with a small colored display in the center, its competitors are stepping up with more digital offerings. Hyundai Aura, for instance, provides a semi-digital display, catering to the growing preference for digital instrumentation in vehicles.

The 2025 Honda Amaze is expected to follow suit with a semi-digital driver’s display, offering a mix of analogue and digital elements that would provide key driving information in a more accessible format. This would give the new Amaze a tech-savvy edge, helping it keep up with the preferences of younger, tech-focused buyers.

Expected Price Range and Rivals

With all these exciting updates, the third-generation Honda Amaze is anticipated to have a starting price of around ₹7.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Positioned to compete with popular rivals such as the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Maruti Dzire, the new Amaze will likely appeal to those looking for a compact sedan with a touch of luxury, advanced safety features, and modern technology.

The 2025 Honda Amaze: Ready to Amaze the Indian Market

The upcoming Honda Amaze appears ready to capture attention with a combination of style, technology, and safety upgrades that respond directly to the evolving demands of Indian consumers. With a bigger touchscreen, a single-pane sunroof, wireless charging, six airbags as standard, and a semi-digital driver’s display, the 2025 Amaze is likely to raise the bar in its segment. As the car prepares to make its debut, it promises to be a strong contender in the market, appealing to both traditional and tech-savvy buyers looking for a balanced and modern compact sedan.

The official launch of the 2025 Honda Amaze is expected soon, and if these features do indeed make it to production, the compact sedan segment could see a new frontrunner.
