2025 BYD Seal Unveiled: Bookings Open Soon, Price Reveal in April

2025 BYD Seal Gets Upgraded Features & Tech – Bookings Open Soon. BYD India has introduced the 2025 Seal with enhanced features and performance upgrades. Find out what’s new, when it will launch, and how much it might cost.

BYD India has introduced the 2025 model year Seal with new features and technology updates. Bookings will begin on March 11, with prices set to be announced in April.

Here’s what’s new in the updated BYD Seal.

2025 BYD Seal Unveiled – What’s New and When Can You Book It?

BYD India has officially introduced the MY2025 BYD Seal, bringing a set of feature upgrades and enhanced performance. Alongside the updated Atto 3, the new BYD Seal gets improved comfort and tech updates, making it an even more compelling option in the premium electric sedan segment.

Bookings for the 2025 BYD Seal will open on March 11, with a token amount of ₹1.25 lakh. The official pricing announcement will take place in April 2025, and deliveries are expected to follow shortly after.

Let’s take a closer look at what the updated BYD Seal has to offer.

New Features & Upgrades – A More Premium Experience

With the MY2025 update, BYD has added several comfort and performance upgrades to the Seal, making it an even better electric sedan for Indian buyers.

1. Standard Features Enhancement

  • The power sunshade is now a standard feature across all variants, improving convenience and luxury.

  • A revamped air-conditioning system with a larger compressor enhances cooling efficiency.

  • A new air purification module ensures cleaner cabin air, adding to passenger comfort.

2. Premium & Performance Variant Enhancements

  • The Premium variant now gets Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), which were previously available only in the Performance trim. This upgrade enhances ride quality and comfort.

  • The Performance variant now features BYD’s DiSus-C system, which dynamically adjusts the dampers for better stability, control, and driving comfort.

These enhancements aim to improve the overall driving experience, making the 2025 BYD Seal an even more refined electric vehicle (EV).

Battery, Range & Variants – A Look at the Powertrain

The 2025 BYD Seal continues to be offered in three variants:

  • Dynamic

  • Premium

  • Performance

In terms of battery and range, customers can choose between two battery options:

  • 61.44kWh battery – Offering a solid driving range for city commutes.

  • 82.56kWh battery – Providing a maximum range of up to 650 km on a single charge, making it ideal for long-distance travel.

BYD’s Blade Battery Technology ensures high safety and efficiency, reinforcing the brand’s reputation for cutting-edge EV technology.

Launch & Expected Price – What to Anticipate?

With bookings opening on March 11, the official price announcement is scheduled for April 2025. While BYD hasn’t revealed pricing details yet, we can expect the updated Seal to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model due to the added features.

However, BYD is known for offering competitive pricing in the EV segment, making the Seal a strong contender against premium electric sedans from brands like Tesla, BMW, and Hyundai.

Should You Consider the 2025 BYD Seal?

The 2025 BYD Seal brings several meaningful upgrades, including improved suspension, enhanced comfort, and better cabin air quality. With impressive battery range options and new features, it continues to be a compelling choice for luxury EV buyers.

If you’re looking for a high-performance, feature-packed electric sedan, the new BYD Seal is definitely worth considering. Keep an eye out for the official price announcement in April and plan your booking accordingly!
