2024 Bmw M2 Launched In India At Indian Rupee 1 Crore More Power Enhanced Tech

2024 BMW M2 Launched in India at ₹1.03 Crore: More Power, Enhanced Tech

BMW India has introduced the updated M2 Coupe with a starting price of ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom). The latest iteration of the high-performance coupe brings an upgraded engine, refined dynamics, and added features.

Here's everything you need to know about the newly launched M2.

Power-Packed Performance

Engine Upgrade: The updated BMW M2 comes equipped with a more powerful 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six engine, producing 480hp, an increase of 20hp over its predecessor. Torque has also been bumped up by 50Nm to 600Nm, available between 2,650-6,130rpm.

  • Acceleration Boost: The enhanced powertrain improves the 0-100kph sprint.

  • Automatic Variant: Achieves 0-100kph in 4.0 seconds.

  • Manual Variant: Covers the same distance in 4.2 seconds.

  • Both versions also deliver faster 0-200kph times, surpassing their predecessors by 0.6 seconds.

  • Top Speed: The standard model is electronically limited to 250kph, which can be increased to 285kph with the optional M Driver’s package.

Design Updates

  • Exterior Enhancements: While retaining its bold silhouette, the M2 Coupe now offers an expanded color palette, including Sao Paulo Yellow, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, and Skyscraper Grey.

  • Wheels: The car features 19-inch front and 20-inch rear black-finished M double-spoke wheels, with an optional silver finish.

Interior and Technology

  • Steering Wheel: The updated M2 receives a new flat-bottomed steering wheel with an optional Alcantara finish, adding a sporty touch to the cabin.

  • Digital Upgrades: Equipped with BMW's latest-generation iDrive system, the car offers a seamless and intuitive digital operating system.

Rivals in the Indian Market

The BMW M2 stands largely unchallenged in India. The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S, a hatchback, comes closest in terms of size and dynamics but lags in power with a 421hp engine.

Pricing and Availability

The updated 2024 BMW M2 Coupe is available at a starting price of ₹1.03 crore (ex-showroom) in India, offering a blend of enhanced performance, cutting-edge technology, and refined aesthetics for enthusiasts.
