Upcoming Car Launches in December 2024: Honda Amaze to Kia Syros

December 2024 promises to be an exciting month for the Indian automotive market, with three significant car launches on the horizon. Following a flurry of releases in November, including the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG S E Performance, and BMW M5, automakers are gearing up for more unveilings ahead of the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 in January. Highlighting the month will be the launches of the Honda Amaze Facelift, the Toyota Camry Facelift, and the all-new Kia Syros.

Here's what to expect.

Honda Amaze Facelift

The refreshed Honda Amaze will soon hit Indian roads, promising significant upgrades.

  • Exterior and Interior Overhaul: The facelift model boasts an updated exterior design, a revised dashboard akin to the Honda Elevate, and an improved feature set.

  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): For the first time, the Amaze will include ADAS features, a major upgrade in its safety offerings.

  • Launch Date: Scheduled for December 04, 2024, the Amaze facelift is expected to further solidify Honda’s presence in the compact sedan segment.

Toyota Camry Facelift

Toyota’s flagship sedan, the Camry, enters its ninth generation in India. This locally manufactured model brings several enhancements:

  • Design Updates: Featuring an updated exterior and interior design, the facelift reflects Toyota's focus on premium aesthetics and functionality.

  • Features and Powertrain: While the feature list has been expanded, the upcoming model is expected to retain the trusted 2.5-liter hybrid engine seen in the current version, ensuring a balance of performance and fuel efficiency.

  • Launch Date: Set for December 11, 2024, the Camry facelift continues Toyota’s commitment to delivering luxury sedans with hybrid technology.

Kia Syros

Kia India will introduce a new player to its lineup with the launch of the Syros, an SUV designed to cater to Indian buyers’ growing demand for premium features and bold styling.

  • Design and Features: The Syros is expected to feature all-LED headlamps with LED DRLs resembling the Carnival MPV. Other design elements include silver-finished bumpers and a raised hood, giving it a muscular stance.

  • Teaser Insights: Test mules have already provided glimpses of the vehicle, generating significant anticipation in the market.

  • Launch Date: The Syros will debut on December 19, 2024, adding another dynamic SUV to Kia’s growing portfolio in India.

December 2024 is poised to witness a diverse array of launches, from compact sedans to luxury sedans and robust SUVs. With the Honda Amaze, Toyota Camry, and Kia Syros, automakers aim to capture varied consumer interests and preferences, ensuring a strong finish to the year.
