Volvo XC90 facelift launched in India for Rs. 1.03 Crore

The new Volvo XC90 priced at Rs. 1.03 Crore and has been launched in India. The new updates in the car include getting cosmetic updates and a bigger screen for the infotainment system with many new highlights for the car.

The Volvo XC90 facelift is now available for Rs 1.03 crore (introductory ex-showroom) in India. This is the XC90's first significant upgrade in a long time, and it includes exterior changes as well as a larger infotainment screen. These are some of the car's best features.

One Single Fully loaded variant

There is just one fully equipped B5 Ultra variant of the 2018 Volvo XC90 available, which comes with all the features Volvo has to offer. Level-2 ADAS, leather upholstery, a motorized tailgate, two digital displays (more on this in the following section), four-zone temperature control, and a complete LED lighting package are all on this list. There is a B6 model with a few extra features available worldwide, though.

A bigger infotainment Screen

The largest modification to the interior is the 11.3-inch screen, which now has Google Assistant functionality and Ui updates. This was one of the largest displays available and among the first to use a portrait design when Volvo introduced the XC90 to India in late 2015.

Mild-Hybrid Petrol Powertrain

The Swedish automaker's final diesel-powered vehicle, the XC90, is now limited to somewhat hybrid petrol. This 2.0-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine generates 360 Nm and 250 horsepower. It is only available with an AWD system and an eight-speed AT. Included in the kit is a 48V mild hybrid system. This vehicle is also available as a plug-in hybrid worldwide, and India will soon receive the EX90, the BEV version of this vehicle.

Conclusion

With its updated appearance, bigger infotainment screen, and cutting-edge technologies, the facelifted Volvo XC90 is a very attractive luxury SUV choice in India. It has a mild-hybrid petrol engine and a fully equipped version with high-end equipment, and it costs Rs. 1.03 crore. Volvo is continuing its transition to electrification, with the all-electric EX90 anticipated to reach India shortly, even if the diesel option has been taken out. The new XC90 is still a formidable competitor in the high-end SUV market because of its unique combination of elegance, technology, and safety.
