With the first wave of launches of VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, VinFast, a Vietnamese EV brand, seems to be picking up pace in India. Already in pre-booking in India for 21,000 rupees, new details about the new VF7 have now emerged, where it will be an upmarket, well-featured car positioned at the higher end of the Indian EV market.
The bigger VF7 is currently scheduled to be launched alongside the smaller VF6 around the 2025 festive season with three variants (Earth, Wind, and Sky). Names of these models fit the global naming policy established by VinFast, and they represent the brand orientation of nature and sustainability.
Colour Options and Interiors
Buyers will have six vibrant exterior paint options to choose from:
Jet Black
Desat Silver
Infinity Blanc (White)
Crimson Red
Zenith Grey
Urban Mint (Greenish hue)
A two-colored theme dress in Mocca Brown and black color will be used to dress the interiors and make the cabin appear high-end and classy.
Battery and Powertrain Specifications
Although we have not received all the India-specific specs at this point, a 70.8kWh battery pack will come packed with the VF7. The SUV can also be had with a 75.3kWh battery around the world, single and dual-motor variants with a potential of maintaining a healthy mix of mileage and performance.

VinFast is busily establishing its dealership and electric charging network in India. The customers are enabled to pre-book the VF7 through the official site for 21,000, and it is possible that the deliveries will start after the rollout of the festive season.
