The Hyundai Alcazar Diesel Now Shines with Voice-Assist Panoramic Sunroof

Hyundai India has responded to customer demand by introducing the Alcazar Diesel Corporate variant featuring a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof and both manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, the company expands the Prestige petrol variant’s appeal by offering a 7-speed DCT option.

Hyundai India surprised many when it first launched the updated Alcazar Diesel without a panoramic sunroof. Customer feedback poured in almost immediately—buyers wanted that full-size sunroof experience.

Today, Hyundai addresses those requests with the brand-new Diesel Corporate variant, now equipped with a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof that lets passengers enjoy an open-sky feel at the touch of a button.

Why the New Diesel Corporate Variant?

The Diesel Corporate model was crafted specifically to meet the demand for a feature-rich SUV at an attractive price point. Hyundai’s engineers have integrated voice assistance so that you can open and close the sunroof hands-free—perfect for when you’re navigating busy city streets or cruising on the highway.

Beyond just the sunroof, this variant delivers on the Alcazar’s promise of versatility, whether you’re driving around town or heading out on a weekend getaway with family and friends.

Price and Transmission Options

The Alcazar Diesel Corporate variant is priced from Rs. 17.86 lakh (ex-showroom). For those who prefer a traditional gearbox, there’s a smooth six-speed manual option. If you want a more relaxed drive with effortless gear changes, Hyundai offers a six-speed automatic torque converter transmission.

The addition of these transmission choices ensures that the new Corporate variant caters to a wide range of driving styles and preferences, all while keeping the panoramic sunroof within reach.

Meanwhile, Hyundai didn’t forget its petrol fans. The Prestige petrol variant now comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), priced at Rs. 18.63 lakh (ex-showroom). This DCT option brings quicker shifts and improved fuel efficiency, adding another layer of excitement for petrol lovers.

Engine and Mechanical Specifications

Under the hood, the Alcazar continues to offer two proven powertrains:

  • 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or the new seven-speed DCT for the Prestige variant.

  • 1.5-litre diesel engine available with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic torque converter, now with the added sunroof feature in Corporate trim.

Both engines produce robust power and torque figures that make the Alcazar feel responsive in city traffic, yet confident on the highway.

The diesel’s torquey nature is particularly well-suited for long drives and heavier loads, while the petrol engine remains a refined choice for those who prefer smoother acceleration and lower NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) levels.

Variant Lineup Overview

The Hyundai Alcazar is offered in four main trims:

  1. Executive – The base trim that covers all fundamental features and comforts for daily driving.

  2. Prestige – Adds more creature comforts, and now includes the option of a seven-speed DCT in the petrol variant.

  3. Platinum – Offers premium interior touches, safety tech upgrades, and design enhancements.

  4. Signature – The top-of-the-line trim loaded with every available feature, including advanced driver-assistance systems.

With the introduction of the Diesel Corporate trim, buyers get an attractive midpoint between Prestige and Platinum—a sunroof-equipped SUV that doesn’t break the bank.

A Human Touch to SUV Ownership

Hyundai’s decision to listen to customer feedback and launch the Alcazar Diesel Corporate variant shows how closely brands are now tuned into real-world needs, so whether you’re sharing a laugh with friends under the open sky or just enjoying the fresh air on a long drive.

In Summary, the Hyundai Alcazar Diesel Corporate variant brings together affordability, convenience, and that priceless open-sky feeling with its voice-assisted panoramic sunroof. Priced from Rs. 17.86 lakh, it perfectly balances what Indian SUV buyers want: modern tech, flexible transmission options, and a dash of luxury.
