Tesla Witnesses Fall In Deliveries Fire 10 Workforce Which Is 14000 Employees

Tesla witnesses fall in Deliveries: Fire 10% Workforce which is 14,000 Employees.

Elon Musk, the father of the EV Industry leaves no stone unturned when it comes to shocking the netizens but this time he had shocked his entire workforce by laying off 14000 Employees brace for sacking. It was announced through a memo sent to company employees.

CEO Elon Musk stated that cost-cutting and role duplication were essential for the "next phase of growth" in an internal email that went viral on the internet. The email was sent at the company's rapid growth. He added, “As we prepare the company for our next phase of growth, it is extremely important to look at every aspect of the company for cost reductions and increasing productivity. As part of this effort, we've done a thorough review of the organization and made the difficult decision to reduce our headcount by more than 10% globally. There is nothing I hate more, but it must be done.”

The company delivered about 387,000 cars in the first quarter of 2024, 13% fewer than anticipated by the market. Tesla's output has been impacted by several things. Last month, it reduced the speed of production at its Shanghai plant and shortened the shifts for employees at its Texas manufacturing, which produces the eagerly anticipated Cybertruck.

Tesla has plants in Berlin, Germany, Shanghai, China, and California, Texas, New York, and Nevada in the United States. It had already claimed that several events, such as an arson attack on its Berlin plant and Houthi attacks on shipping in the Red Sea, had impacted supplies.

The Tesla departments that will be impacted are unknown to the general public, however, according to reports, certain employees with Texas and California bases have been notified of their departure. Drew Baglino, the brand's senior vice-president for powertrain and energy, made a significant exit announcement after eighteen years with the organization.

Elon Musk, on the other hand, is sincerely dedicated to marking his entry into India’s Automotive market. During his travel to India later this month, the tech billionaire is also slated to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he is anticipated to declare his intention to establish a new Tesla factory. He had written on his X profile, "Looking forward to meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in India!"

The visit takes place one month after India announced a new strategy aimed at reducing import duties on electric vehicles by about 85%. The program gives EV manufacturers three years to establish production facilities in India and mandates that they invest a minimum of ₹ 4,150 crore.
