The Tata Punch EV has been spotted testing a couple of times now and it is highly likely that it will borrow the 10.25-inch touchscreen and steering wheel from the recently launched Nexon facelift.
The Tata Punch EV SUV is now in the final stages of testing and it is likely to borrow the 10.25-inch touchscreen unit and the new steering wheel that debuted on the Nexon facelift recently.
The latest images also show a charging port in the front bumper. This is unlike the other EV siblings in the company’s EV fleet.
Tata Punch EV Exterior
Exterior changes could include a revised LED DRL unit, a new alloy design, disc brakes for all tyres, and ORVMs borrowed from the outgoing Harrier.
Tata Punch EV Interior
On the inside, it is likely to sport the new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with a screen right at the centre. The layout was first seen on the Curvv concept, which was just backlit and displayed the Tata logo.
The upcoming steering wheel is expected to act as a screen that could relay information similar to the instrument cluster. Other features could include a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charging pod, and a rotary gear selector to name a few.
Tata Punch EV Battery Specs
The specifications are not out yet, but we can expect the car to be offered in two variants: Standard and Long Range. We can expect the Tata Punch EV to be housing the 26 kWh battery that also does duty for the Tata Tigor EV and the Nexon EV’s 30.2 kWh battery in the long-range variant.
The Tata Punch EV can be expected to retail at a price tag that starts from Rs. 13 lakh and will stretch to Rs. 17 lakh. Upon launch, it will lock horns with the Citroen eC3.
