Tata Motors looks to make a grand entry at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 with electric and ICE cars lining up. The company’s display at Bharat Expo is likely to be one of the highlights of the event as Tata yet again resurrects an old familiar nameplate in an all-new avatar of an electric SUV and beefs up the aesthetics of its popular cars with the sultry Dark Edition. Here’s what you can expect.
Sierra EV: The Comeback King Goes Electric
Long-time favorite, Tata Sierra is coming back and it will be in the form of a new-age electric SUV. Tata has previewed the Sierra EV in production guise at motor shows and other major events, but its production version will launch at the Mobility Expo.
Key highlights of the Sierra EV:
Launched on the new Acti.EV architecture that Tata has developed a substructure for, with inherent capability for two motors for improved power.
Equipped with fast charging function, V2V charging and V2L functions.
Originally on the most of the 400-500 kilometre range to cover both, the city traffic and intercity travelers.
Sierra ICE: A Concept to Complement the EV
Another debut of Tata Motors may be the Sierra ICE; it will pay homage to the classic SUV look of today’s styling.
Expected features of the Sierra ICE:
Similar in design, interior layout and safety to its electric vehicle sibling.
Engine options:
A new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol producing 170 PS and 280 Nm coupled with Dual Clutch Auto transmissions.
A strong 2.0-litre diesel engine at the moment used in Harrier and Safari with power of 170 PS and torque of 350 Nm available with both 6-speed manual/automatic transmission.
The two strategies by Tata Motors depict the firm’s plan to target both the electric and ICE segments of the market.
Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Edition
Subsequently to the Dark Edition line success, at the event, Tata will be revealing the Curvv and Curvv EV Dark Editions.
What’s new in the Dark Editions:
Such additions as pure black paint jobs at the exterior and interior with contrasting reflections of luxury.
However, a new design is stated to continue with the current powertrain setup and therefore the Curvv will be available with petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains.
These sleek upgrades are likely to resonate with car buyers who are keen on this kind of aggressive and race car-like look.
A Platform for Surprises
As for the concepts, besides Sierra EVs and Curvv Dark Editions, Tata appears to be preparing several concept cars or additional variations of the brand’s best-known vehicles.
With the Indian automobile industry eyeing the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 now is the perfect time where Tata Motors is all set to evolve as leaders in both markets for electric cars and ICE with revolutionary new products, sophisticated technology and those iconic names planted in the minds of every Indian.
