Another major feat by Tata Motors is that within just 24 hours, the new entry of an electric vehicle, Harrier EV, showed a remarkable booking of 10,000 vehicles in India.
Available at a starting price of 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric SUV officially entered the market on July 6, leaving an immeasurable interest in consumers waiting to buy one.
The Pune plant of Tata is already in production, and it is assumed that the deliveries will commence shortly.
Powertrain and performance, Variants
The Tata Harrier EV is developed with the new acti.ev+ platform of the brand, and it comes in a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Quad-Wheel Drive (QWD) variant. It has only two electric motors that produce a stunning 390 bhp and 504 Nm of torque.
Therefore, it will have excellent performance that most SUVs cannot match. Expectedly, the Harrier EV has a range of up to 622km on a full charge, which is one of the highest in its segment, although the exact figure depends on the variant.

Tata is loading the Harrier EV with a 12.3-inch Harman infotainment system and Samsung Neo QLED technology, a 10.25-inch fully digital cluster, Level 2-Advanced Driver Assistance System, and a 540-degree Surround View camera system - a segment-first. Its cabin also features a 10-speaker Dolby Atmos JBL audio setup that offers a top-class audio experience in the car.
On the other hand, aesthetically, in case someone wants something more aggressive, the Stealth Edition has an all-black exterior and interior theme, which further enhances its design.
