Tata Tigor, Tiago NRG Prices Increased by 10,000

Tata Motors has made up to 10,000 prices of the Tigor and Tiago NRG. This comes after a previous increment on the Tiago hatchback and the Curvv SUV. These models may be bumped, but still, they are competitive in the entry-level and compact sedan segments.

Tata Motors has now updated the prices of some of its most well-known vehicles, but this time it is the Tiago NRG and the Tigor. Under the Tata periodic price adjustment policy, the price has been increased by up to 10,000 INR across several variants of both models. This is measured a few weeks after the company raised the prices of its upcoming Curvv SUV and the Tiago base models hatchbacks earlier this month.

Now Tiago NRG Starts at 7.30 Lakh

Tata Tiago NRG, which comes with rugged styling and a crossover-type image, has received a flat 10k increase on the total range of its versions. This comprises XZ MT, XZA, XZ iCNG and XZA iCNG trim.

Following the price revision, the Tiago NRG will now be priced between 7.30 lakh- 8.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Irrespective of the price increase, the Tiago NRG remains one of the well-equipped products in the hatchback-crossover category, at least to those customers who want their compact cars to be fuel-efficient and have high-ground clearance.

Tigor Sees a Mixed Price Update

The Tata Tigor, sharing its platform with the equally lightened up Tiago, is also upped in prices by 10,000. Nevertheless, two trims are not affected by the hike, and they are XM and XZ+ Lux.

Placed in the presence of the competition, such as Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze, Tigor is quite a strong competitor in its segment, especially in its petrol and dual-fuel CNG.

Is it still a Value Deal?

Though buyers will not receive the announcement of price increments with delight, the products provided by Tata have yet to lose their competitive advantage in features, safety, and variety of variants. The new prices might have a little impact on affordability, but the customers seeking good build quality and controlled powertrains will still find it viable in both Tigor and Tiago NRG.
