Suzuki Triumphs As Best Manufacturer In 2024 Car Dealer Power Survey

Suzuki Triumphs as Best Manufacturer in 2024 Car Dealer Power Survey

Suzuki has clinched the prestigious title of Best Manufacturer in the 2024 Car Dealer Power Survey, a significant achievement that underscores the brand’s commitment to excellence and dealer satisfaction. The survey, which evaluates car manufacturers based on dealer feedback across multiple categories, saw Suzuki rise to the top with an outstanding average satisfaction score of 90.8%, outpacing 24 other brands.

A Triumph of Dealer Satisfaction

The Car Dealer Power Survey is a crucial barometer of a manufacturer's relationship with its dealers. Dealers anonymously rank their manufacturer partners on various factors, from aftersales support to return on investment (ROI). Suzuki’s remarkable score of 90.8% reflects its exceptional performance in these areas, especially after a fourth-place finish last year with a score of 82.8%. This 8% improvement is a testament to the brand's focused efforts on enhancing dealer relations and operational excellence.

James Baggott, editor-in-chief of Car Dealer Magazine, highlighted Suzuki's achievement: "Suzuki should be extremely proud of this result. The brand rose three places from last year's ranking – it's a hugely deserved win. The high scores in aftersales, brand awareness, accessibility, requirements, and ROI indicate a delighted dealer network."

Swift Success: A Commendable Model

Adding to Suzuki's accolades, the Suzuki Swift was named 'Highly Commended' for Car of the Year following its April 2024 launch. This recognition speaks volumes about Swift's market performance and the positive reception from both dealers and customers. Swift’s commendation aligns with Suzuki’s broader strategy of delivering reliable and appealing vehicles that meet the evolving needs of their market.

Innovative Warranty Program: A Game Changer

One of the key initiatives that contributed to Suzuki’s elevated dealer satisfaction is its innovative extended warranty program. Launched last year, this program offers up to seven years of warranty coverage at no additional cost, once the car reaches the end of its standard manufacturer warranty period. The extended warranty is renewed with each scheduled service within the Suzuki Dealer network, up to seven years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

This customer-centric program has already registered over 26,000 customers, significantly reducing ownership costs and enhancing overall satisfaction. By providing long-term coverage without extra charges, Suzuki not only boosts its value proposition but also strengthens the trust and loyalty of its customer base.

Strategic Focus on Quality and Service

Suzuki’s strategic focus on quality service and dealer satisfaction is evident in its approach. The brand has consistently worked on improving its operational efficiency and customer service standards. Their commitment to providing top-notch aftersales support and ensuring accessibility and ease of requirements for dealers has paid off significantly.

Despite being smaller in scale compared to some of its competitors in the survey, Suzuki’s performance is a clear indication that size does not dictate success. Their ability to deliver high-quality service and maintain strong dealer relationships has set them apart in the competitive automotive landscape.

Looking Ahead: Sustaining Excellence

Suzuki's remarkable rise in the Car Dealer Power Survey rankings and the success of its extended warranty program underscore its dedication to excellence within the automotive industry. The brand's comprehensive approach to dealer satisfaction and customer benefits has not only improved its standing in industry surveys but also solidified its reputation among dealers and customers alike.

As Suzuki continues to innovate and adapt to market needs, its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service will likely keep it at the forefront of the industry. This year’s triumph as the Best Manufacturer is just the beginning of what promises to be a sustained journey of excellence and customer satisfaction for Suzuki.
