Spies Sneak Peak on the go: Kia Carens Facelift spied again!

The 2025 Kia Carens facelift is set to impress with refreshed aesthetics, advanced features like ADAS and a panoramic sunroof, and an upcoming electric version, signaling Kia's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Kia has been making headlines with the facelift of its Carens.

According to the sources, Kia Caren is followed by EV iterations. The launch is planned for later this year, with several upgraded features. Recent spy shorts reveal a heavily camouflaged prototype, hinting fans of a number of major upgrades.

Unmatched Exterior Update

A few standout changes to be noted include split headlamps, redesigned daytime running lights (DRLs), and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Also, The B and C-pillars will now match the body color, suggesting a sleeker appearance.

Additionally, we anticipate LED light bars at both the front and rear, along with revamped bumpers and updated LED taillights.

Enhanced Interior Features

The upgrades will not stay limited to exteriors, one can expect significant upgrades with the interiors as well.

To be considered, one of the standout additions is a panoramic sunroof specifically designed to enhance the cabin's airy feel.

Also, the dashboard is likely to feature dual 12.3-inch displays which aim to serve as the instrument cluster and infotainment system.

Comfort is also a priority, with ventilated seats anticipated for the first two rows in the six-seat configuration.

Safety and convenience get a boost with the inclusion of an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite and a 360-degree camera setup.

Powertrain Options: Petrol, Diesel, and Electric

The powertrain options are quite something to look forward to, Under the hood, the 2025 Carens is expected to continue with its existing engine lineup:

  • 1.5-liter petrol engine: Delivering 115PS, paired with either a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT.

  • 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine: Producing 140PS will be available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

  • 1.5-liter diesel engine: Generating 115PS to be mated to a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Excitingly, Kia plans to introduce an electric variant of the Carens, expected to debut shortly after the facelifted model's launch. This EV version may share its powertrain with the upcoming Creta Electric, which offers 51.4kWh and 42kWh battery options.

Launch Timeline

The refreshed Kia Carens is slated for an official launch in April 2025, with the electric variant following in June. These updates underscore Kia's dedication to blending style, technology, and sustainability in its vehicle lineup.

In summary, the 2025 Kia Carens facelift is poised to offer a blend of modern design, enhanced features, and diverse powertrain options, catering to a wide range of consumer preferences.
