Mahindra is on a product blitz and among the most awaited updates in its pipeline is the facelifted XUV700 which has now been caught testing with some great additions. The SUV will arrive in early 2026 and likely make a big step in the transformation of the tech and design interests of Mahindra.
Triple-Screen Dashboard Setup
The greatest issue of the new spy shots is the new three-display dash configuration. The redesigned version of the current XUV700 will have three displays: one monitor will replace the digital instrument cluster, and the other one will be the infotainment system, while the third display will be a co-driver infotainment/information display.
This design seems to have been derived from Mahindra's upcoming EV flagship model, the XEV 9e, and makes the XUV700 one of the high-tech launching SUVs in the segment.
External Refurbishment is Afoot
Design-wise, the XUV700 facelift will have a completely redesigned front and rear view. We should expect the redesigned headlamps, sleeker LED Daytime Running Lights, and renewed bumpers, which will give the vehicle a sharper and more modern view.
Its tailgate and LED tail-lamps will be given a styling touch and a new grille and design in alloy wheels will be added to the makeover.
Upgrades and Interior enhancement
Mahindra will also offer the facelift with high end creature comforts. It is also expected to have an upgraded ADAS package, auto park assist, rear sunblinds as well as panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting.
The second-row riders of the six-seat version can avail of the ventilated seats which is the first time in this segment, Mahindra is entertaining.
Engine and Transmission: No Major Changes
Mechanically, the facelift is expected to retain the current lineup of engines. This includes the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 2.2-litre diesel units, both offered with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) will also continue to be offered on select variants.
With this update, Mahindra is aiming to keep the XUV700 fresh and competitive, ready to challenge upcoming rivals well into 2026.
