Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Teased with All-Black Styling and Full Features

Nissan has officially teased the return of the Magnite Kuro Edition, an all-black special variant based on the 2024 facelifted model. Set to launch soon, it will be available with both petrol engines and a fully loaded feature set.

kuro black

Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is an enthralling all-black version of the 2024 Magnite facelift. “Kuro” means black in Japanese, and this special edition Nissan model embodies that colour to perfection. This variant is expected to launch later this August and has been officially teased by Nissan in India.

This low-cost, black themed refresh of the 2024 Magnite keeps Nissan’s customers interested before its further launches and revival strategy in India, which includes the much-anticipated Renault Triber-based MPV and a new C-segment SUV (above the Magnite).

What’s special about the Kuro Edition?

It features a stealthy all-black look, and it’s built on the top-spec variant, meaning it's packed with premium features.

  • Gloss black grille

  • Black roof rails

  • Black alloy wheels

  • Full black interior with gloss accents

Since it’s based on the top variant, the Kuro Edition will likely include the following features:

  • 360-degree camera

  • Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

  • Wireless phone charging

  • LED headlamps, DRLs, and taillamps

  • Height-adjustable driver’s seat

  • Premium black cabin finish

Engine Options: Same as the Regular Magnite

The Kuro Edition will be available with both engine options already offered in the regular Magnite:

1.0L Naturally Aspirated (NA) Petrol

  • Power: 71 bhp / 96 Nm

  • Gearbox: 5-speed Manual (MT) or 5-speed AMT

  • Best for: City driving and fuel-conscious buyers

1.0L Turbo Petrol

  • Power: 99 bhp / up to 160 Nm

  • Gearbox: 6-speed Manual or CVT (Automatic)

  • Best for: People wanting more performance and highway use

Conclusion

Nissan is making a comeback after the 2024 Magnite facelift through this all-black or “Kuro” variant. This special edition is all about style — from its stunning design to premium features. Nissan aims to keep momentum going with the Magnite Kuro Edition ahead of its major launches in 2026, making this a strategic step in its India revival plan.
