New Maruti Dzire Launched in India; Prices Start at Rs. 6.79 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has officially announced the pricing for the new Dzire in India, starting at Rs. 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This updated sub-four-meter sedan, which was revealed last week, recently achieved top honors in the Global NCAP crash test, reflecting its enhanced safety.

Power and Performance

The fourth-generation Maruti Dzire is powered by a new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine that produces 80bhp and 112Nm of torque. Buyers have the option of a five-speed manual or an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission).

Additionally, Maruti is offering a CNG variant tuned to deliver 68bhp and 102Nm of torque, providing an economical alternative.

Design and Exterior

On the outside, the 2024 Dzire features a refreshed look with design updates including:

  • New Grille with Horizontal Slats: Enhancing the sedan’s modern look.

  • LED Headlamps: For improved visibility and style.

  • Updated Front and Rear Bumpers: Giving the Dzire a sporty touch.

  • Dual-Tone Alloy Wheels: Adding a premium element to the design.

  • Triangular Inserts for LED Taillights: Creating a distinct rear look.

  • Shark-Fin Antenna: Contributing to a sleek overall profile.

Interior and Features

The 2024 Dzire comes packed with features aimed at enhancing comfort and convenience:

  • Electric Sunroof: A segment-first addition, offering an upscale experience.

  • Dual-Tone Interior Theme: Elevating the cabin's ambiance.

  • Nine-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment System: For an immersive media experience.

  • Flat-Bottom Steering Wheel: Adding a sporty feel to the driving experience.

  • 360-Degree Camera: Aiding in safe and convenient parking.

  • Cruise Control: Allowing for a relaxed highway drive.

  • Rear AC Vents and Automatic Climate Control: Ensuring comfort for all passengers.

Variant-Wise Prices (Introductory, Ex-Showroom)

Here are the introductory prices for the new Maruti Dzire by variant:

  • LXI: Rs. 6.79 lakh

  • VXI: Rs. 7.34 lakh

  • ZXI: Rs. 8.19 lakh

  • ZXI+: Rs. 9.04 lakh

  • VXI CNG: Rs. 8.29 lakh

  • ZXI CNG: Rs. 9.04 lakh

The new Dzire is now available in showrooms, offering an exciting blend of features, performance, and safety at competitive pricing in the sub-four-meter sedan segment.
