Mg Gloster Snowstorm And Desertstorm Editions Launched At Rs 41 Lakh

MG Gloster Snowstorm and Desertstorm Editions Launched at Rs 41.05 Lakh

In May 2024, MG India introduced special editions of the Comet, Hector, ZS EV, and Astor to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary. Although the Gloster did not initially receive a centenary edition, MG has now launched two special editions for this SUV: the Snowstorm and Desertstorm, each priced at Rs 41.05 lakh (ex-showroom, India). These editions feature only cosmetic updates and expand the Gloster Storm lineup, which now includes the Blackstorm, Snowstorm, and Desertstorm editions.

MG Gloster Snowstorm Edition: What's New?

Exterior: White and black finish with red accents. Key black elements include the front grille, spoiler, alloy wheels, wing mirrors, fog lamp, and fender garnish. Red accents highlight the front fender, wing mirrors, and headlamps.

Interior: Features black upholstery with red stitching on the steering wheel.

Configuration: Available exclusively in a six-seater setup.

MG Gloster Desertstorm Edition: What's New?

Exterior: Golden paint scheme similar to the Mahindra Thar Earth Edition, with red accents on the headlamps. Black elements are featured on the alloy wheels, front grille, wing mirrors, and roof rails.

Interior: Black treatment with white stitching.

Configuration: Available in both six- and seven-seat configurations.

Features and Powertrain

Creature Comforts: Includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, adjustable driver’s seat with massage and ventilation functions, and a comprehensive ADAS suite (forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking).

Drivetrain Options: Both Snowstorm and Desertstorm editions are available in 2WD and 4WD variants.

  • 2WD Configuration: Powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 163hp and 375Nm of torque.

  • 4WD Configuration: The same engine is tuned to deliver 218hp and 480Nm of torque.

These new editions add to the appeal of the MG Gloster by offering unique visual enhancements and maintaining the robust feature set that the SUV is known for.
