The company is known for having the largest CNG portfolio in India and it sold an impressive 1.38 lakh CNG cars between April and June 2024. Largest CNG Portfolio in India
Maruti Suzuki boasts the largest CNG car lineup in the country. During the first quarter, the company sold a total of 414,000 vehicles in the domestic market, with 138,000 of these being CNG models. This highlights the growing popularity and demand for CNG vehicles among Indian consumers, who are increasingly looking for cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternatives.
Extensive Range of CNG Models
The automaker currently offers 12 CNG-powered models, providing a wide range of options for consumers. These models include:
Arena Dealership Models: Alto K10, Celerio, Eeco, S-Presso, Wagon R, Dzire, Brezza, and Ertiga.
Nexa Dealership Models: Baleno, Fronx, XL6, and the Grand Vitara.
This diverse portfolio ensures that there is a CNG car for various needs and preferences, from small hatchbacks to larger multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs).
Upcoming CNG Variants of the Swift
